CAROLINA December 12, 1994 Mr. Jeff Barnhart Cabarrus County Commissioner Concord, NC 28025 Dear Mr. Barnhart: According to our records the Cabarrus County Department of Aging Advisory Board has five members that are currently serving a term that will expire on December 31, 1994. Of these five, only one will be available for re. appointment to our Advisory Board. The five members that are serving the last month of their term are as follows: Name Township Appointment Expiration Bill Nichols Concord 2/6/89 12/31/94 Coy Privette Kannapolis 2/6/89 12/31/94 Donna Udovich Concord 2/6/89 12/31/94 Wallace Hinnant Concord 1/6/92 12/31/94 Frank Hen-in Concord 1/6/92 12/31/94 According to the "Procedures for Appointment to Boards, Committees, and Commissions", Bill Nichols, Coy Privette and Donna Udovich are not eligible to serve another consecutive term on this Advisory Board. Wallace Hinnant has asked not to be reappointed due to increased involvement with local civic organizations and Frank Herrin has acknowledged his desire to serve another three year term. On behalf of the Cabarms County Department of Aging staff and the remaining Advisory Board members, I respectfully submit the following recommendation for consideration by the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners in an effort to replace these outgoing members with new members that will bring a sincere commitment to the older adults of Cabarrus County. I would first like to ask that Frank Herrin be reappointed to serve another three year term on this Advisory Board.
