CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> <br />INVITATION TO BID <br /> <br />Sealed bids for Playground Equipment will be received by the County <br />Manager for Cabarrus County in the Board of Commissioners <br />Conference Room (County Manager's office) of the Cabarrus County <br />Governmental Building until 3:00 PM Wednesday, December 23, at <br />which time, they will be publicly opened and read. <br /> <br />Instructions for submitting bids and complete specifications may be <br />obtained at the office of the Cabarrus County Parks and Recreation <br />Department at 755 Cabarrus Avenue, West, P.O. Box 707, Concord, <br />North Carolina, during regular office hours. These bids are being <br />received in accordance with Section 143-129, North Carolina General <br />Statues. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a deposit of cash <br />or certified check on some bank or trust company insured by the <br />Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in an amount equal to 5% of <br />the gross amount of the proposal. The deposit shall be retained if <br />the successful bidder fails to execute the contract or fails to <br />give satisfactory surety as required by Law.
