Committee to continue working on the <br />Cabarrus County Aging Plan. <br /> <br />Completed ALL ABOUT AGING - No. 6, the Area Agency on Aging's monthly <br />informational directive to all local community service providers. <br /> <br />Received and processed Management Information System (MIS) monthly reports <br />at Centralina and submitted to the Division of Aging. <br /> <br />Conducted the quarterly meeting of the Region F Aging Advisory Committee <br />(RFAAC). <br /> <br />Senior Community Service EmPloyment Program <br /> <br />Entered and/or updated enrollee information and prepared Monthly Progress <br />Report to the Division of Aging. <br /> <br />Long Term Care Ombudsman Program <br /> <br />Conducted Community Advisory Committee Leadership Training. <br /> <br />Produced Ombudsman Outlook Newsletter. <br /> <br />Prepared computer generated facility list with bed totals. <br /> <br />Arranged for date for Annual Reports to be presented to County Commissioners. <br /> <br />.Planning Activitie~ <br /> <br />Cabarrus County - Americans with Disabilities Act ~ Continued to provide technical <br />assistance to the county regarding barrier removal plans, transportation and <br />employment issues. <br /> <br />Regional Activities <br /> <br />Solid Waste Management - Continued to conduct monthly meeting for solid waste <br />managers, recycling coordinators and public works personnel, to discuss current <br />topics, provide legislative updates, disseminate information and address current <br />concerns. <br /> <br />Building Permit Project - Continued to work with Counties to develop a monthly <br />building permit reporting system. Permits for all counties in region are being <br />collected and formatted for use. Data is being collected starting from January <br />1990 through present. <br /> <br /> <br />
