~O~T~ CAROtlNA <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />John Witherspoon <br />Eleanor Koski~ <br /> <br />DATE: February 8, 1993 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Appointment of Lead Agency for <br /> Home Care Community Block Grant <br /> <br />In light of the Department of Aging being given the responsibility <br />of implementing the new Cabarrus County Aging Plan, the Department <br />of Aging Advisory Board and Aging Plan Task Force recommended the <br />Area Agency on Aging remain the lead agency for the Home Care <br />Community Block Grant for at least the 93-94 fiscal year. <br /> <br />Both the task force and Advisory Board recognize implementing the <br />aging plan will require much time and effort on behalf of the <br />Department of Aging staff. <br /> <br />Please add this appointment to the Board of County Commissioners <br />February 15 agenda. <br /> <br />We need to make this appointment as soon as possible because we are <br />mandated to begin allocations of the Home Care Community Block <br />Grant funds. <br /> <br />Thank you for your help. <br /> <br /> Depe:tmer,t of Aging <br /> <br />~ O ~c>: :C'C~ · ¥o?c'c "~( z::/.26 i005 · ,:~04i ,'~ 9~".'~ <br /> / <br /> <br /> <br />
