Little, Director <br />Cabarrus County Parks and Recreation Department <br /> <br />State of North Carolina Department of Transportation <br />Request for Right-of-Way on Cabarrus Avenue <br /> <br /> This letter is in reference to North Carolina Department of Transportation request <br />of an offer to purchase right-of-way at the Cabarrus County Health Department (area <br />shaded in pink) and permanent drainage easement at the Cabarrus County Office Complex <br />(area shaded in blue). The proposed plan by D.O.T. is to install a five lane road with a <br />turning lane in the middle of Cabarrus Avenue. <br /> <br /> Mr. Todd Furr, Right-of-Way Agent, states in his attached letter that the existing <br />Cabarrus County curbing and parking lots will not be disturbed. He also states that the two <br />light poles at the Health Department may be required to be relocated. Attached is an <br />estimate ($2,195.00) from R.D.
