ADULT DAY CARE WEEK <br /> <br />PROCLAMATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the week of September 19-25, 1993, has been designated NATIONAL <br /> ADULT DAY CARE WEEK; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the deliverance of the best quality health care to all citizens is the function of <br /> adult day care agencies in the State of North Carolina; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />these centers are able to provide a wide range of health services to citizens <br />to help them remain in their own homes and prevent institutionalization; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the County of Cabarrus joins the United States Congress in paying tribute <br />to the dedicated people who serve the ill, recuperating and aged citizens <br />of our community. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, I, Carolyn B. Carpenter, Chairman of the Cabarrus County <br />Board of Commissioners, by virtue of the power and authority vested in me by the laws of <br />the County, do hereby proclaim September 19-25, 1993 as: <br /> <br />ADULT DAY CARE WEEK IN CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> <br />and urge the citizens of Cabarrus County to recognize this event and to participate by paying <br />tribute to the dedicated people who serve the older adults in Cabarrus County through <br />Adult Day Care. <br /> <br /> IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the official seal <br />of the County of Cabarrus, this 7th day of September, 1993. <br /> <br />Carolyn B.
