Witherspoon <br />County Manager <br />PO Box 707 <br />Concord, North Carolina 28026-0707 <br /> <br />Dear John, <br /> <br /> Please accept this letter of request to allow Waste <br />Management of the Piedmont to utilize the Cabarrus County <br />Landfill for a portion of our Davidson County customers. <br />Davidson County is temporarily closing their landfill on October <br />9, 1993 and, to date, are not offering us a disposal alternative <br />until their new landfill is operational sometime early in 1994. <br />We would like to have the option of diverting approximately 150 <br />tons per week of industrial (roll-off) solid waste and up to 100 <br />tons per week of commercial (front-load) solid waste.
