CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> <br />Job Trainincj A~ivltles <br /> <br />Conducted JTPA/NCETGP program monitoring of job training activities with the following <br />Cabarrus County contractors: <br /> <br />* Employment Security Commission-Concord Local Office - November 4 and 5 <br />* Rowan-Cabarrus Community College - November 1, 2, and 8 <br />* Employment Security Commission (Raleigh-Administrative & Financial unit) - <br /> November 30 <br /> <br />Attended and participated in meeting of Interagency Coordinating Committee of <br />Governor's Commission on Workforce Preparedness in Raleigh on November 2. <br /> <br />Participated in DET sponsored "Assessment/Individual Service Strategy" training session <br />in Hickory on November 3. <br /> <br />Conducted meeting of North Carolina Job Training Administrators Association (NCJTAA) <br />in Burlington on November 4 and 5. <br /> <br />Facilitated joint meeting of NCJTM and PIC Association executive committees in <br />Burlington on November 5. <br /> <br />Participated in ICC work group review session of Governor's Coordination Criteria in <br />Raleigh on November 15. <br /> <br />Participated in Performance Standards work group session at DET in Raleigh on <br />November 18. <br /> <br />Conducted meeting with Dow Perry (PIC Chairman) and Ron Cooper (Zia Associates) <br />regarding strategic plan development in Salisbury on November 23. <br /> <br />Reviewed, processed, and corrected Monthly Performance Reports from program <br />contractors. <br /> <br />Provided technical assistance to JTPA/NCETGP contractor staff. <br /> <br />Processed Monthly Financial Status Reports and Requests for Funds from program, <br />contractors. <br /> <br />Aging Activities <br /> <br />HOME AND COMMUNITY(~ARE BLOCK GRANT SERVICES (HCCBG) <br /> <br />Conducted annual site assessment of the Logan Nutrition Site of the Cabarrus County <br />Department of Aging for nutrition services funded through the Home and Community Care <br />Block Grant. <br /> <br /> <br />
