Box 707 Concord, NC 2802G-0707 Dear Mr. Witherspoon: In a regular meeting on November 21, 1991, the Cabarrus County Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission took action on the following items: The Advisory Commission reviewed and studied bid proposals for soft drink concessions at Frank Liske Park. After a brief discussion, the Commission recommended to award the soft drink concessions at Frank Liske Park to Pepsi Bottling Company. I have enclosed a copy of the soft drink bid proposal. In another agenda item, the Commission reviewed the Cabarrus County Parks, Recreation, and Property Maintenance Annual Report for Fiscal Year 1990-91. Please present this Annual Report to the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners in their next regular meeting. I have enclosed a cover letter and twelue Annual Re- ports. If you need additional copies, please contact me. The Cabarrus County Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission elected their officers for the 1992 term: Chairman - Mike Fox, Vice-Chairman - Jim Johnson, and Member-At-Large - Jerry Hopkins. The Commission formally recognized three of their retiring adviso- ry board members by presenting them plaques for their services on the board: Tim Jackson, Bob Mauldln, and Nelson Hardister. In ~nother agenda item, the Commission approved their nomina- tions for the three represenatlves on the board: Charles Mitchell representing township 3/4, Terry Brummeyer represent.lng township 3/4 and Tana Heath representing township 1/2.
