AGREEMENT WITH THE REGION F AREA AGENCY ON AGING <br /> 01/28/92 <br /> <br />This agreement designates the Region F Area Agency on Aging as the <br />lead agency for the Home and ComI~unity Care Block Grant Funding for <br />fiscal year 1992-93 beginning July 1, 1992-June 30, 1993. <br />Responsibilities as the lead agency for Cabarrus County are: <br /> <br />The Region F Area Agency on Aging will be responsible for the <br />funding plan. Will facilitate the Block Grant Advisory Committee <br />meetings and work on the Funding Plan. Complete the Block Grant <br />Funding Plan, submit to the Department of Aging Director and grant <br />advisory committee for approval, and the Board of Commissioners for <br />approval. <br /> <br />This is a draft of the time schedule we anticipate: <br /> <br />First meeting with the appointed Block Grant Advisory Committee <br />scheduled by February 12, 1992. <br /> <br />The second meeting to review the first draft of the plan by <br />February 28, 1992. <br /> <br />. Will submit draft of the funding plan to the county budget office <br /> by February 28, 1992. <br /> <br />A review of the draft will be presented to local community <br />persons at the Region F Conference on Aging March 11, 1992. <br /> <br />PLAN <br /> <br />-- Final plan to be presented to Grant Advisory Committee by <br /> March 31, 1992. <br /> <br />-- The Area Agency on Aging will facilitate the public hearing on <br /> the grant funding plan by April 15, 1992. <br /> <br />-- Meet with Grant Advisory Committee for approval of funding plan. <br /> <br />-- The final funding plan will be presented to the Cabarrus County <br /> Board of Commissioners by May 31, 1992 for approval. <br /> <br />-- Will ensure that the Funding Plan meets all requirements as <br /> specified by the Division of Aging and completed by <br /> June 15, 1992. <br /> <br /> <br />
