B) <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />Changing of existing addresses when necessary to facilitate sequential <br />house numbers along a road. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />Designating individual unit addresses within the multiple housing units <br />in conformity with this Ordinance. <br /> <br />s) <br /> <br />Coordinating with emergency service personnel to assist the public <br />in complying with the requirements of this Ordinance. <br /> <br />This Ordinance shall apply in all areas of Cabarrus County not within a <br />municipality or its extraterritorial jurisdiction, except for those municipalities <br />that have contracted with the County for addressing services. <br /> <br />Section 5. Display q)f Road Address Numbers <br /> <br />^) <br /> <br />Road address numbers must be clearly displayed in accordance with U.S. <br />Postal requirements so that the location can be identified easily from the <br />road. <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />The official address number must be displayed on the front of a <br />building, or at the entrance to a building, whichever is most dearly <br />visible from the street or road during day and night. <br /> <br />If a building is more than one hundred (100) feet from any road, the <br />address number shall be displayed within a three foot perimeter at <br />the end of the driveway or easement nearest the road which provides <br />access lo the building. <br /> <br />Numerals indicating the address number of a single family dwelling <br />shall be at least three (3) inches in height and shall be posted and <br />maintained so as to be legible from the road. <br /> <br />Numerals for multiple dwelling units and nonresidential building shall <br />be at least six (6) inches in height and shall be placed on the front <br />of the building facing the road or at the end of the building nearest <br />the road. <br /> <br />5) <br /> <br />6) <br /> <br />Mobile home lots shall have sequential address numbers throughout <br />the park. Each lot shall have a separate address number assigned. <br />The address number of each lot must be clearly displayed on the lot <br />so as to be legible from the road, or it may be mounted on the <br />mobile home unit provided that it is removed if the home is <br />transported to a new location. <br /> <br />Numerals must be of contrasting color to the background. <br /> <br /> <br />
