A special meeting of the Town Council of the Town of <br />Harrisburg, North Carolina, was held in the Town Hall at 105 N.C. <br />Highway 49, South in Harrisburg, North Carolina at 5:30 P.M. on <br />January 22, 1992. <br /> <br /> Present: Mayor and Council members <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br /> Council member <br />resolution which was read: <br /> <br />introduced the following <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION CONCERNING THE ORGANIZATION OF THE <br /> WATER AND SEWER AUTHORITY OF CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 162A-3 <br /> OF CHA~TER 162A OF THE GENERAL STATUTES OF <br /> NORTH CAROLINA, AS AMENDED. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Harrisburg, North <br />Carolina desires to signify its determination to organize the Water <br />and Sewer Authority of Cabarrus County (the "Authority") pursuant <br />to the prowisions of the North Carolina Water and Sewer Authorities <br />Act, being Article 1 of Chapter 162A of the General Statutes of <br />North Carolina, as amended (the "Act"); now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Harrisburg, <br />North Carolina, as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1. The Town Council hereby finds and declares that it <br />is in the best interest of the Town of Harrisburg to participate, <br />together with certain other political subdivisions named in the <br />proposed Articles of Incorporation of the Authority, in the <br /> <br /> <br />
