Box 707
Concord, North Carolina 28026-0707

Re: Application for Fund Reservation for Section 811 Supportive
Housing for the Elderly in Concord, North Carolina

Dear Ms. Carpenter:

I am writing on behalf of Perry C. Craven Associates, Inc., Central
United Methodist Church, and First Presbyterian Church of Concord,
NC, Inc., the consultant and two sponsors respectively for Wesbury
Plaza Apartments, a proposed Section 811 supportive housing
project for the elderly. An application for fund reservation was
submitted to US Department of Housing and Urban Development
September 1991 for a site located in Concord on Bishop Lane. We
were recently advised that our application was successful and
funding was approved.

At this time, we want to share our success with you and take this
opportunity to thank you for your assistance with the application
process and for your support of the proposed elderly project. Your
letter of support indicating the need for elderly housing units was
an extremely important part of the application process. Your
support greatly enhanced the project feasibility.

Thank you again for your time and support. The need for elderly
housing in the area is great. We look forward to continuing our
successful working relationship with you as we progress with the
development of Wesbury Plaza Apartments.

Sincerely,

PERRY C.
