WHEREAS, the Board of the District does now hereby find that the requirements of N.C.G.S. 162A-87.1 have been met, to wit, that: (1) The area to be annexed is contiguous to the District, with at least one eighth of each area's aggregate external boundary coincident with the existing boundary of the District; (2) The residents of the Annexation Areas will benefit from the annexation; and (3) It is economically feasible to provide the proposed service or services in the Annexation Areas without unreasonable or burdensome annual tax levies. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the Water and Sewer District of Cabarrus County that: Section 1. By virtue of the authority granted by G.S. 162A- 87.1, as amended, the following described territory (the Annexation Areas) be and the same is hereby annexed ~nd made part of the Water and Sewer District of Cabarrus County as of the 1st day of July, 1992: AREA I-C Beginning at a point on the Township 1 line 500 feet west of the centerline of N.C. 49 and on the existing Water and Sewer District of Cabarrus County Boundary (point 1); thence north with a line 500 feet west of the centerline of N.C. 49 to a point 500 feet east of the centerline of Old Charlotte Road (SR 1157) (point 2); thence south with a line 500 feet east of the centerline of Old Charlotte Road to its intersection with the Township 1 line (point 3); thence west with the Township 1 line to the point of beginning. AREA II-A Beginning at a point 500 feet north cf the Miami Church Road (SR l132)/U.S. 601 intersection at a point 500 feet east of U.S. 601 and on the existing Water and Sewer District of Cabarrus County Boundary (point 1); thence east following a line 500 feet north of the centerline of Miami Church Road to a line 500 feet east of the centerline of Country Home Road (SR 1185) (point 2); thence southwest with a line 500 feet east of the centerline of Country
