Mr. Fowler was <br />contacted about continuing to serve on the Council since it is very difficult <br />to locate someone from organized labor. Although Mr. Fowler missed a number <br />of meetings while he was involved in labor negotiations, he has indicated he would <br />like to be considered for reappointment. Also, Mr. Hollars from COG indicated <br />that Mr. Fowler was a very active member of the Council when he was able to attend. <br />Also, he kept in contact with COG when unable to participate in the actual meetings. <br /> <br />Jean Pherigo has served on the Council since 1986. County policy limits membership <br />to 6 years; however there are no State or Federal regulations regarding length of <br />service on the PIC. David Hollars of COG stated that Ms. Pherigo has been an <br />excellent member if the Board should choose to make an exception to its 6-year <br />term of membership. <br /> <br /> <br />
