Box 707 <br />Concord, North Carolina 28026-0707 <br /> <br />Dear Terry: <br /> <br />During the past twelve (12) months our REALTORS®, staff and County personnel have given much time <br />and effort to reach an agreement for the exchange of tax and real estate data which would be mutually <br />advantageous (copy enclosed). <br /> <br />In the belief that our discussions would result in an agreement and our willingness to comply with your <br />requirements during the process, the Association incurred legal expenses. <br /> <br />The County agreed to the price and terms which were incorporated in the enclosed agreement. In <br />particular giving the Assessor's office "on-line computer" access to the REALTORS® real estate sold <br />and closed data. The property listing data has indivkhtal property features, characteristics and recent <br />improvements to the property that may not be in the County records. This and other data is carefillly <br />obtained by the REALTOR® in an effort to obtain the best ~rice for the real estate. <br /> <br />The Cabarrus County Association of REALTORS®, through its Multiple Listing Service, plays an active <br />role promoting the benefits of moving to Cabarrus County and stimulating the growth of housing, <br />commercial real estate building and sales. These activities not only result in more business for the <br />County, but also, contributes to creating a broader tax base to generate revenues.
