Pilkington, Health Director~ <br /> <br />Board of Health Actions <br /> <br />Meeting in official session on June 25, 1992, the Cabarrus County Board <br />of Health voted to recommend the following action to the Board of <br />Commissioners: <br /> <br /> To grant a $.65 per month per household increase in the fee <br /> residential customers pay for solid waste collection. The <br /> increase is based upon the following formula: 73 TPD of <br /> residential solid waste x 22 operating days per month x $3.00 <br /> increase in landfill tippin~ fees divided by 7,157 residential <br /> customers. <br /> <br />In other action, the Board deferred a request from Waste Management to <br />bring 125 TPD into the county's sanitary landfill. A decision will be <br />made at the Board's July 23 meeting. <br /> <br />The Board also appointed a committee to review the proposed animal <br />control ordinance. The Committee is to report to the Board of Health at <br />the July 23 meeting.
