<br />Pursuant to General Statutes of North Carolina, Section 160A, Section
<br />265-277, sealed bids will be received by the Board of County Commissioners
<br />for the Cabarrus County Health Department, Sanitary Landfill, Concord,
<br />North Carolina, until 10:00 a.m. on the 12th day of August ,
<br />1992, at which time the County Manager, {n the Commissioners' Conference
<br />Room of the Cabarrus County Governmental Center, 65 Church Street, SE,
<br />Concord, North Carolina, will open sealed bids for one (1) 1980 1015B Clark
<br />Paddle Pan with 2,636 operating hours.
<br />
<br />From the date of this advertisement, the list and specifications of the
<br />proposed equipment are and will continue to be on file and available to
<br />prospective bidders. For further explanation of specifications please
<br />contact Mr. William F. Pilkington, Health Director, Cabarrus County Health
<br />Department, P. O. Box 1149, Concord, North Carolina, (704) 786-8121. No
<br />bids will be considered or accepted unless at the time of its filing the
<br />same shall be accompanied by a deposit of cash or certified check on a bank
<br />or trust company licensed by the F.D.I.C. in an amount equal to five (5)
<br />percent of the bid or in lieu thereof a five (5) percent bid bond in
<br />accordance with North Carolina General Statute 160A-268 as amended. The
<br />Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all
<br />bids. The bidder to whom the equipment will be sold must comply with all
<br />requirements of G.S. 160A, Section 265-277 as amended. This 30th day of
<br /> July , 1992.

<br />The Clark Paddle Pan is located at the Cabarrus County Sanitary Landfill,
<br />4405 Irish Potato Road, Concord, North Carolina, and is described in the
<br />attached specifications. The successful bidder shall be responsible for
<br />removing the equipment from the Cabarrus County Landfill within 30 days of
<br />the bid award. Cabarrus County will not be responsible for any injury or
<br />damages occurring during the removal of the Clark Paddle Pan or any part
<br />therein. To view the Clark Paddle Pan contact Mr. Bob Farris,

<br />mailed to the Cabarrus Count~ Manager, P. O. Box 707, Concord, NC
<br />28026-0707 with the outside of the envelope clearly marked "BID FOR CLARK
<br />PADDLE PAN."

<br />and described in advertisement dated July 30 , 1992, will be
<br />received until 10:00 a.m. August 12 , 1992, in the
<br />Commissioners' Conference Room at the Cabarrus County Gov--~rnmental Center,
<br />65 Church Street, SE, Concord, North Carolina, and then publicly opened for
<br />selling the equipment described in the attached specifications. The bid
<br />will be considered by the Cabarrus County Commissioners during their
<br />regular meeting on August 17 , 19 92.
