however the results were not available at the time of this mailing but will be with the
forwarded from NCDCT as soon as possible and provided to the Board at a later
date.

The decision to support the NC200 access option is a better choice than SRl132
for three primary reasons: 1) Tl-~e site access off NC200 is merely ~ quarter mile
from the US6Ol intersection creating a minimal impact to the residents of the area.
Compare this to the five mile travel through the rural re~'~dential community along
SRl132 to reach the site. 2) NC200 is wider and appears to be in better condition
than SRl132. it appears to need less improvements made than the alternative choice.
3 ) The road design of NC200 is more appropriate for the projected use that will come
as a result cf the proposed industry at the site.

The Metrolina Studios promises an exciting future to Cabarrus County. >~any
preparations need to be made in order to accommodate this opportunity. A key
element of this is to understand and support the most appropriate access to the si?e
from a commuter and service vehicle stand point. It is important, then, to consider
the current and future road conditions, the communities ~n~pacted and the costs to
accommodate.
