CABA'RRUS COUNTY <br /> <br />JTPA Activities <br /> <br />Monitoring by SYETP Interns of Cabarrus County worksites, participants, <br />supervisors, and program contractors for compliance with Title II-B JTPA contact. <br />Prepared and distributed 1992 SYETP monitoring report for Kannapolis City <br />Schools (Educational Training). <br /> <br />Conducted PIC Oversight/Evaluation Committee meeting at Rowan-Cabarrus <br />Community College (South Campus-Concord) on August 4, 1992. <br /> <br />Conducted Private Industry Council (PIC) Meeting at Centralina COG on August <br />11, 1992. Attended by Cabarrus County PIC members (Jim Lunsford, Tonia Black- <br />Gold, James Polk). <br /> <br />Conducted orientation session for new PIC members at Centralina COG on August <br />11, 1992. Attended by new Cabarrus County PIC member (Tonia Black-Gold). <br /> <br />Participated in Cabarrus County DSS-JOBS planning meeting at DSS office in <br />Concord on August 20, 1992. <br /> <br />Participated in Division of Employment and Training (DET) Performance Standards <br /> Block O Adjustments Workshop in Raleigh on August 20. Prepared and <br />submitted Block O adjustments for PY'91 performance standards to DET on <br />August 25. <br /> <br />Reviewed, processed, and corrected Monthly Performance Reports from program <br />contractors. <br /> <br />Provided technical assistance to JTPA contractor staff. <br /> <br />Processed Monthly Financial Status Reports and Requests for Funds from program <br />contractors. <br /> <br />Received and processed PY'91 Title II-A, III, NCETGP Contract Closeout packages <br />from JTPA contractors. Prepared and submitted PY'91 "FINAL" report to DET on <br />August 31. <br /> <br />Aging Activities <br /> <br />Home and Community Care Block Grant Services (HCCBG) <br /> <br />Facilitated two meetings of the Home and Community Care Block Grant Advisory <br />Committee to continue working on the Cabarrus Aging Plan. <br /> <br /> <br />
