E. Chief or designee of Cabarrus Rescue Squad. <br />F. A representative of the Cabarrus County Board of <br /> Commissioners or their designee. <br />G. Director or designee of Emergency Medical Services. <br /> H. President or designee of the Fire Chiefs' Association. <br /> I. Sheriff of Cabarrus County or his designee. <br /> <br />Each organization on the Advisory Board shall have one <br />vote. All voting members will be verified prior to <br />voting. <br /> <br />SECTION 16: Operational Standards for the Cabarrus County First <br /> Responder Advisory Board <br /> <br />The board will meet bi-monthly, on the fourth Thursday of <br />each odd numbered month. A 72-hour written notice will <br />be given with time and location noted. <br /> <br />The board will address grievances as described in Section <br />10. <br /> <br />The board will evaluate all requests for changes, <br />deletions or additions to the first responder program or <br />the first responder ordinance and make recommendations to <br />the Board of County Commissioners. <br /> <br />The board will provide audit and review for the first <br />responder program. <br /> <br />Any organization that meets the requirements for <br />certification will have their application automatically <br />forwarded to the Board of County Commissioners for <br />approval. <br /> <br />SECTION 17: Radio Communications <br /> <br />Dispatch of first responders and necessary communications will be <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Only the dispatch will be on the county fire frequency <br />(154.340). <br /> <br />Ail communications by first responder will be on the <br />ambulance frequency (155.160) so that the responding <br />ambulance crew will receive all information without the <br />need for an information relay and all non-relevant <br />communications will be kept off the fire frequency. <br />These communications should be limited to the first <br />responder checking in route (10-17) and arrival (10-23) <br />plus any critical medical information. <br /> <br /> <br />
