President or designee of the Fire Chiefs' Association. I. Sheriff of Cabarrus County or his designee. Each organization on the Advisory Board shall have one vote. All voting members will be verified prior to voting. SECTION 16: Operational Standards for the Cabarrus County First Responder Advisory Board The board will meet bi-monthly, on the fourth Thursday of each odd numbered month. A 72-hour written notice will be given with time and location noted. The board will address grievances as described in Section 10. The board will evaluate all requests for changes, deletions or additions to the first responder program or the first responder ordinance and make recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners. The board will provide audit and review for the first responder program. Any organization that meets the requirements for certification will have their application automatically forwarded to the Board of County Commissioners for approval. SECTION 17: Radio Communications Dispatch of first responders and necessary communications will be as follows: Only the dispatch will be on the county fire frequency (154.340). Ail communications by first responder will be on the ambulance frequency (155.160) so that the responding ambulance crew will receive all information without the need for an information relay and all non-relevant communications will be kept off the fire frequency. These communications should be limited to the first responder checking in route (10-17) and arrival (10-23) plus any critical medical information.
