JUSTIFICATION FOR BUDGET REVISION <br /> <br />Program Budget 57-65 <br /> <br />The weatherization program has been allocated funds this year <br />to purchase Blower Door Equipment that will be used On <br />eligible clients homes. This procedure will allow the <br />program coordinator to detect air leakage (conduction) in a <br />house and determine whether the house may be too tight or too <br />leaky. <br /> <br />The weatherization program has been mandated to change to the <br />Blower door process, and is expected to begin early in 1993 <br />for our program. The equipment must be purchased within the <br />next month, and bids have been received. <br /> <br />This equipment cost was not built into our current year's <br />program budget as we were not aware that we would be <br />responsible for purchasing it. <br /> <br /> <br />
