CABARRUS COUNTY UTILITY DEPARTMENT <br /> WATER CONNECTION CPL%RGES <br /> FOR THE <br />WHITLE¥ ~_=-NUFACTURING CDBG WATER LINES <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Cabarrus seeks to provide fire protection and <br />potable water to all County businesses and citizens; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Cabarrus seeks to leverage public and private monies <br />to the maximum extent feasible; and <br /> <br /> ~"~EREAS, the County of Cabarrus has applied for funding for the <br />installation o~ a water system to Whitley Manufacturing on Whitley Road in <br />Midland using Co.-~nunity Development Block Grant funds; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the funding source, the North Carolina Commerce Finance Center <br />requires a recapture plan of the grant monies from connections to the water <br />lines; <br /> <br /> ~ow, THEREFORE, BE iT RESOLI~D, by the Board of Commissioners of the County <br />of Cabarrus, North Carolina, that: <br /> <br />Section 1. The following water connection charges are in effect for any <br /> connection to the whitley CDBG water line. <br /> <br />SERVICE TAP CDBG ADD-ON SECURITY SET-UP FEE <br />3/4" meter $ 750.00 $250.00 $ 50.00 $25.00 <br />1" meter 850.00 250.00 50.00 25.00 <br />2" meter 2,200.00 500.00 !00.O0 25.00 <br />4" meter 4,700.00 750.00 100.00 25.00 <br />6" meter cost + 10% 1000.00 100.00 25.00 <br />Fire Line cost + I0% 500.00 100.00 25.00 <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />Section 3. <br /> <br />Section 4. <br /> <br />Section 5. <br /> <br />The Cabarrus County Utility Department will collect the above <br />mentioned CDBG add-on funds and will submit this income quarterly to <br />the Economic Development Fund balances as specified by the North <br />Carolina Commerce Finance Center. <br /> <br />Ail development directly or indirectly served by this CDBG <br />waterline, shall be subject to these terms. <br /> <br />The CDBG add-on charge shall increase 10 percent per year until <br />1998. <br /> <br />These add-on charges shall be in effect for five years from the <br /> <br /> <br />
