I MEMO <br /> ! <br /> TO: Mike Ruffin <br /> I FROM: AngelaFerguson~ <br /> <br /> DATE: December 28, 1990 <br /> I RE: Cabarrus County COA Advisory Board Appointments <br /> <br /> I The following is a clause from the resolution to establish <br /> the Cabarrus County COA Advisory Board: <br /> I "Membership on Board shall consist of fifteen (15) members <br /> who are appointed by the Board of Commissioners. Initially, <br /> one third of the membership shall be appointed for a one <br /> I year term; one-third for a two year term; and one-third for <br /> a three year term. Subsequent appointments shall be for a <br /> three year term." This resolution was adopted February 6, <br /> I 1989. Those members who are up for re-appointment are: <br /> <br /> Ms. Sue Casper <br /> i ~. Earl Clayton <br /> Dr. Wallace A. Early <br /> Mr. Louis W. Jenkins <br /> I Mr. Webb Linker <br /> <br /> I Ms. Joy Wilkinson Metcalf tendered'her resignation to the <br /> board on Monday, December 17, 1990. <br /> <br /> A report was made by Nomination Committee Chairman, Donna <br /> I Udovich recommend of the five whose term <br /> reappointment <br /> expires February 6, 1991. The motion was unanimously <br /> carried. No recommendation was made to reappoint a member <br />I to replace Ms. Metcalf. Appointments are requestedto be <br /> made by the February 18, 1991 COA Advisory Board Meeting.
