9. To hear or investigate a complaint, charge, or grievance by or against <br /> a county officer or employee. Final action regarding such complaint, <br /> charge, or grievance shall be taken in open session. <br /> <br />10. To consider the appointment or removal of a member of another <br /> board, commission, or other public body, some or all of whose <br /> members are appointed by the Cabarrus County Board of <br /> Commissioners.' At least seven days before malting an appointment <br /> discussed previously in executive session, the board shall present at <br /> an open meeting and simultaneously make available for public <br /> inspection in the office of the clerk to the board a written list of the <br /> persons then under consideration for the appointment.
