Rufftn, County Manager <br /> Cabarrus County <br /> Post Office Box ?07 <br /> Concord, NC 28025 <br /> <br /> SUBJECT: Carolinas Counties Coalition Conference <br /> March 28, 1991 <br /> <br /> Dear Michael: <br /> <br /> As was promised tn our December 10, 1990 letter, we are now <br /> sending copies of the conference agenda and registration <br /> forms for the upcoming Carolinas Countles Coalition <br /> Conference to be held on March 28, 1991, Vail Commons, <br /> Davidson College, Davtdson, N.C. Please distribute the <br /> information to all of the parties you would like <br /> to invite to attend. We feel the conference will be <br /> very worthwhile for governmenta! officials, educators, <br /> chamber of commerce representatives, and health officials. <br /> You will notice that we have mailed 20 registration slips and <br /> we request that you limit your invitations to this amount. <br /> If at all possible, we request the registration s//ps be <br /> returned back to our office no later than March 11, 1991. <br /> An invoice ts enclosed to cover the cost of 20 participants <br /> from your county, and checks should be made payable to <br /> Iredell County. <br /> <br /> The General Session will be presided by all of the <br /> various chairpersons of the counties/councils. A separate <br /> letter will be mailed to them explaining their role <br /> in the conference. As has been done tn the past, each <br /> chairperson will be asked to sit at the head table. <br /> <br /> We are very excited about the upcoming conference and <br /> feel it offers a day of enlightenment about the challenges <br /> local governments are facing in their continuing effort to <br /> battle the ever increasing problems involving the <br /> environment, <br /> <br /> <br />
