14. The agency head of each participating law enforcement agency certifies by <br /> execution of this Agreement that their duly elected governing body has <br /> adopted an appropriate resolution or ordinance authorizing said agency head <br /> to enter into this Agreen~nt pursuant to North Carolina General Statutes <br /> Sections 160A-288and 90-95.2, a copy of which resolution or ordinance is <br /> attached hereto, <br /> <br /> 15. Nothing contained herein shall be construed as limiting or reducing any <br /> law enforcement agency or officer's core, on law or statutory authority, <br /> including but not limited to the co~on law power of posse comitatus or <br /> the statutory authority conferred by North Carolina General Statute Section <br /> 15h-405. <br /> <br /> 16. In the event a participating law enforcement agency should desire to <br /> withdraw from this agreement, the head of said agency shall provide written <br /> notice to the heed of the other participating agency setting forth the <br /> effective date of sach withdrawal. <br /> <br /> ' <br /> 17. A participating law enforcement agency shall be deemed to have withdrawn <br /> from this Agreement automatically upon the appointment or election of a <br /> different agency head. <br /> <br /> 18.
