This is the action Pitts VFD is seeking from the County <br />Commission: <br /> <br /> We want the Commission to adopt a statement that <br /> <br /> 1. The Commission does not have an objection to the general <br />terms of the Agreement worked out by the leadership of the fire <br />department and the City of Concord in the presence of county <br />officials, <br /> <br /> 2. The Commission approves the Agreement in principle, <br />subject to review and late= adoption of a formal document by <br />Pitts VFD, the City of Concord, ~nd the County Commission~ and <br /> <br /> 3. The County is willing to contract with the City of <br />Concord for the City to provide & portion of the fire service <br />previously provi4ed by Pitts VFD for the total sum of $1 per <br />year. <br /> <br /> This action can help our department, the city of Concord and <br />the county in its preparation of budgets for the new fiscal year, <br />and for that reason we would hope that all the details of a <br />formal Agreement can be worked out promptly. <br /> <br /> <br />
