P,.ESOLUTIO~ It is becoming clear that the county is involved in vater and sever issues and projects throughou£ Cabarrus County. A ~reater mount of cica and effort on the part of the county cmr,~issioners is being dovoted co chess important utility issues. The county has advisory boards to assist in a n'~nber of areas by study- ing specific issues and making reco~endations to the coJ~aissioners /or action. These boards, such as the boards assisting in zoning, parks and recreationj library issues, social services and mentul health ts~ues, have been very helpful in i~king reco~a,~endations to county the In order to sea that the development of racer and sever plans and pro~ec£s throughout eho county are done in a fair vay for the beeefit of people in all parts of Cabarrus County, an advisory board vhich has members frma all areas of the county can be a great help. Therefore, ve resolve ~o establish the Cabarrus Otilities Board, a nlne-me~uber advisory board u~de up as follows: .... one m~ber appointed by each governing the boards the palt~tes In Cabarrus County (a total of four members) .... one ~ber appointed by the co~ission from ~he city of Eannapolis and one member appoinced by the coi~ission from the City o~ Concord (a of tvo members) .... three ~bers appointed by the co~ission to serve a~-large from unincorporated areas of Cabarrus Cowry The role of this Cabarrus Utilities Board uill be ~o: 1.
