RE$OLUTIO~ It is becoming clear thet the county is involved in water and sever issuos and proJecr~ throughout Cabarrus County. A greater a~ounc of timo and effort on the parc of the county is buing devoted che~e important ucili£y issues. The county has advisory boards to assist in a number of areas by study- ing specific issues and making reconvnendations to tho em~issioners for action. Th~se board~ such as tho boards assis~ing in zoning, parks and befit very helpful in ]]~king recommendations co the county co~ais~loners. In order to see that the development of water and sever plans and projects throughouc the county ara done in ~ fair ~ay for the benefit of people in all parts of Cabarrus County, an advisory board which has meJnbers frmn all areas of tho councy can be a great help. Therefore, ye resolve to establish the Cabarrus Utilities Board, a nine-member advisory board c~de up as follovs: .... one meaaber appointed by each of tho governing boards of the munici- palities in Cabarrus County (a cocal of four ~,en~bcrx) - .... one m~=ber appointed by the co,mission from the city of Kannapolis and one =en~ber appointed by the co]~ission from the Ci[y oi Concord (a coc=l of t~o ~embers) .... three =~bers appointed by the coamission co sacve =c-large fTom the unincorporated areas of C=barrus Co~ty The rolo of this Cabarrus ~cilitl~s Board uill ba 1.
