TASK FORCE <br /> I RE: APPOINTMENTS TO THE TASK FORCE FOR 1991-92 <br /> <br /> DATE: JULY 17, 1991 <br />! <br /> The terms of service on the Community Based Alternatives Task <br /> i Force expired on June 30,i99i for the following people; C.D. <br /> Lyons, Donna Beaver, Charlie Davis and Martha Macon. Two of <br /> these expirations have upon request from the Task Force agreed <br /> to serve another term if approved by the Board of Commissioners. <br /> Their names are C.D. Lyons and Martha Macon. Their term, if <br /> approved will be for 3 years. <br /> <br /> This will leave 2 vacancies on the Task Force. The Task Force <br /> has approvea the following 2 people to fill those vacancies; Mr. <br /> Melvin D. Denton, the Drug and Alcohol Spec/al/st for Cabarrus <br /> County Schools and Reverend Thomas A. Kruchkow of Mt. Pleasant. <br /> I Mr. Kruchkow is retired as a former S~bstance Abuse Program <br /> Director with the North Carolina Department of Corrections. <br /> <br /> i The Task Force also approved a reguest to appoint Mr. Leroy <br /> Staggers, Academic Dean for Barber Scotia College as an <br /> ad~tlonal member to the Task Force. <br /> <br /> I Mr. Staggers and ~ev. Kruchkow had filed applications to the <br /> Board of Commissioners for an appointment to an Advisory Board. <br /> <br /> The C.B.A. Task Force presents these names to you for your <br /> I approval and we await as approval or <br /> your <br /> response <br /> your <br /> rejection. <br /> <br />IThank you for your attention to this matter. <br /> <br />! <br />! <br />ICily o!
