It is understood and agreed that Inspectors employed by the District m . shall be stationed at the work to report as to the progress and performance of the work, and shal! be authorized to inspect any part of the ~ork done and any m material furnished, including its preparation or manufacture. Such Inspectprs, however, shall not reliev~ the Applicant from any obligation to perform all of the work strictly in accordance with the Speciftcatians.
