It h~ proved to be unworkable and too expe~ive. <br /> <br /> ~er dism~ion M~ the Board, it was agreed to use a one per~nt (1%) of <br />p~woll budget guideline for total merit incre~es or about a $1o0,~ budget. <br />Comssioner ~enter and I MIl present a propos~ to the Board for ~ mendment <br />to the Perso~el Ordinance that x~qll give Ad~ffistration ~idelines for that budget. <br /> <br /> Since t~s must t~e the fora of an amendment to the Personnel Ordinance, it <br />requkes a un~mous vote to be adopted at the first meeting. Othe~se, it must be <br />voted on again at our second meeting in December. <br /> <br /> ~e amendment must be effective J~ua~ 1, 1992 to treat all employees f~rly <br />under the new ~stem.
