Mo If not, why?. <br />~ AIL facilities were visited except for Alexander's Rest Home whose license <br /> <br /> was revoked in March [988 but ~he facility has continued to operate due to <br /> legal appeals. <br /> 2. Describe educational efforts by the committee. Informin8 public of the <br /> <br /> Committee and its responsibilities - Atteudin~ special events in homes. <br /> Interpreting the Bill of Rights for residents and operators. Referral to <br /> resources for particular needs. Committee co-sponsored training session <br /> on Resident Rights for 25 rest home staff. <br /> <br /> 3. Describe community involvement by the committee. Refer clubs and individuals <br /> to residents needing resources or other activities outside the home. Throogh <br /> members of DHCAC, the Group Homes in Cabarrus County are entertained at an <br /> Annual Halloween Carnival at the DAV Club House by members of the auxiliary. <br /> <br /> 4. Describe problems encountered by committee. It has been necessary to remind <br /> several of the homes that the menus have to be posted in - visible pLace <br /> for residents and visitors to see. <br /> <br /> <br />
