Box 707 <br /> Concord, North Carolina 28026-0707 <br /> <br />Gentlemen: <br />The undersigned Bidder, having carefully investigated the existing <br />conditions at the project site, and having thoroughly familiarized <br />himself with the Contract Documents as prepared by Dennis Yates <br />Associates, Architects-Planners, 18 Spring Street, NW, Concord, <br />North Carolina, hereby proposes to provide for the cabarrus County <br />Governmental Center, Church Street, Concord, North Carolina: all <br />necessary furniture, seating, casegoods, serVices, labor, freight, <br />packing, crating, taxes; bonds, etc., all in accordance with the <br />aforementioned Contract Documents for the lump sum price of: <br /> <br /> Dollars ($ {~0_~.0~ _ __). <br /> <br /> The undersigned further agrees that this proposal shall be valid <br /> for a period of sixty days from the date of receipt of the bids and <br /> that if this proposal is accepted by the Owner w'ithin this period, <br /> the Bidder will execute ~he contract form and provide surety bonds <br /> as described in the contract and required by North Carolina General <br /> Statutes within ten days of approval by Cabarrus County. <br /> The undersigned further agrees to begin the work promptly upon <br /> receipt of Notice to Proceed and t~ pursue the work with an <br /> adequate work force to complete the work within the time periods <br /> stated below; also, liquidated damages in the amounts stated are <br /> hereby agreed upon as the assessment from the Contractor for <br /> failure to complete the work within the agreed upon time periods. <br /> Schedule: If the contract is awarded by Cabarrus County to the <br /> successful low bidder on December 4, 1989, then all wor~ must be <br /> complete and installed by March 30, 1990.
