This <br /> project consists of a sewer outfa]l beginning at a new sewage <br /> pump station located near the confluent of Coddle Creek and Alton <br /> Run Branch appro×imate]y 70' north of Pop]ar Tent Rd. and <br /> continuing upstream along Alton Run, crossing Crisco Rd., I-B5 <br /> and NC HNy.73, West, where it leaves ~Fton Run and Follows a <br /> small stream to the Rowan-Cabarroe Community College property. <br /> The new pump station wJ]] pump the sewage through a force main <br /> along tho north side of Poplar Tent Rd. and the t~esL side <br /> International Dr. to the point of discharge in a manhole owned by <br /> the City of Concord. <br /> <br /> The low bidder ~as Ramey, Inc. of Winston-Salem, N. C. with a <br /> bid of $849,701.00. The Engineer's estimate was $1,000,000. I <br /> am very pleased with the low bid, as well as the number of <br /> Contractors bidding the project.
