Mr. Baker emphasized that [he traps were designed co catch <br /> and hold [he animal rather than co hurt <br /> Ms, Donna Rogers, member of the Animal Pro:et:ion Agency, opposed the <br /> use o£ steel leg traps,-s:a:ing they were cruel, inhumane, and a danger to <br /> animals other than foxes, She asked for additional study to de[ermine the <br /> exteut of :he fox problem in the county and the use of other methods of <br /> animal con:roi, <br /> Mr. Brady Black of Midland supported :he use of traps :o reduce :he <br /> fox population.
