1. Authorized tire dealers in Cabarrus County will take old tires to <br /> U.S. DispoSal Service on Poplar Tent Road with merchant <br /> identification number. <br /> <br /> A. The dealer will either pay for disposal or if billing has been <br /> worked out with U.S. Disposal, sign the bill. <br /> <br />2. At the end of the month the dealer will assemble the following <br /> documentation: <br /> <br /> 1. Copies of all individual tire delivery tickets, or paid bill, <br /> to U.S. Disposal <br /> <br /> 2. Paid invoices or cancelled checks verifyiug payment in full to <br /> U.S. Disposal <br /> <br /> 3. Copy of payment receipt to N.C. Department of Revenue, showing <br /> psymeut of scrap tire collection fee <br /> <br /> 4. Computer print-out or copies of individual invoices showing the <br /> total number of new highway tires sold in the preceding month <br /> <br /> 5. This material will be forwarded to Cabarrus County quarterly <br /> for payment <br /> <br /> A. The tire dealer will be reimbursed for the disposal fee on <br /> an amount of scrap tires not to exceed the total of new <br /> qualifying tires s01d in the preceding quarter <br /> <br /> Payment to dealers will be made quarterly immediately after Cabarrus <br />County receives the first quarterly payment from the department of <br />revenue, April %, %990, and will be made each quarter thereafter. <br /> <br /> In accepting payment from Cabarrus Couety, the dealer agrees to open <br />his company sales records for Verification of same by an authorized agent <br />of Cabarrus County. <br /> <br />Adopted by Cabarrus County Board of llealth in official session on <br />January 25, 1990. <br /> <br /> <br />
