That segment <br /> aftoraable infil I housing bui t on vacanl parcels within <br /> otherwise developed areas. <br /> The petitioners are requesting the zoning change for <br /> the purpose of conelructing medium de~sity housing on the <br /> property. It is their argument that to make this hou~ing <br /> aflorda~le [$55,000 - $75,000) that Ihe land coat must bo <br /> reduced by reduaing the required lot sizes. While this is <br /> certainly true, there are olher factors that need to be <br /> considered betnre a decision can be made aboul rczoning this <br /> property. <br /> The primary factors are the availability of water and <br /> sewer service, and the COmpatibility of R-g zoning wi th the <br /> existing land uses.
