Planning Board Minutes <br />October lg, 198B <br />Page -3- <br /> <br />Little~ Morrison Petition 88-17, was a request by Little, Morrison'& Lieder, <br />& Lieder located on Roberta Read above Stougb Road, to have their <br />Rezoning property rezoeed from R-30 to R-7.2, to allow development <br />R-30 to R-7.2: of a mobile home park adjacent to the existing mobile <br /> home subdivision. <br /> <br /> Mr. Bill Alexander, representing Lit~le~ Morrison & Lieder <br /> addressed the Board about this petition stating tbat the <br /> locating of a mobile home park is very difficult, but <br /> the property owner(s) will put in a mobile home park so it <br /> will be beneficial to the community. <br /> <br /> Mr. Oren Barkley addressed the Board in opposition to <br /> this petition presenting to them a petition with 130 <br /> signatures opposing this rezoning. <br /> <br /> Others addressing the Board in opposition were Mr. Jack Tucker, <br /> Mr. Vernon Isenberg, Ms. Joyce Wells, Mr. Kelly Vandagriff, <br /> Mr. Robert McAbee, Mr. John Benfield, Mr. Charles McKinney <br /> and Mr. Bud Haley. <br /> <br /> Mr. J.M. Little also addressed the Board in favor of <br /> this petition. <br /> <br /> After discussion Mr. Suther MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. Nichols <br /> to deny petition 88-17. The vote was unanimous. <br /> <br /> Zoning Text Petition 88-11, Schedule of Use Regulations, page 11H, <br /> Amendments Plumbing and )(eating Supply Stores. Add to C-5 district, <br /> Schedule of <br /> Use Regulations Mr. Marshall addressed the Board about this zoning text <br /> Plumbing and change asking them to al)ow plumbing and heating supply <br /> Heating Supply stores in the C-5 district. <br /> Stores: <br /> After discussion Mr. Page MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. Suther <br /> to approve petition 88-11 zoning text cl~ange. The vote <br /> was unanimous. <br /> <br /> Clubs & Lodges: Petition 88-12, Schedule of Use Regulations, page 11C, <br /> ~lubs and Lodges. Add to C-5 district. <br /> <br /> Mr. Marshall addressed the Board about this zoning text <br /> change asking them to allow clubs and lodges in the C-5 district. <br /> <br /> Also speaking on behalf of this zoning text change were Mr. <br /> Bob Underwood, Mr~ Bill Alexander and Mr, Tim Drye, President <br /> of the Concord Junior Chamber of Commerce. <br /> <br /> After discussion Mr. Page MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. Nichols <br /> to approve petition 88-12 zoning text change. The vote <br /> was unanimous. <br /> <br /> <br />
