Service Priorities <br /> Which three services represent the most important service <br /> needs fQr your county that should be funded in the State Plan <br /> for Serving Older Adults? For a listing of potential <br /> services to consider, you may wish to refer to the "Service <br /> Adequacy Assessment" form or the "Supplemental Resource <br /> Survey." However, you do not need to restrict YOur priority <br /> services to those on these lists. Feel free to add other <br /> services, if appropriate. Please list specific services <br /> rather than general service categories and please do not <br /> combine issues. Example of preferred format: "We need more <br /> trained, paid personnel tO provide personal care to adults in <br /> their homes." <br /> <br /> · There exists an increased need for financial staff resources for <br /> in-home services, such as chore and respite as alternatives to <br /> institutional care. <br /> <br /> · There exists ~'need for additional housing to meet the diverse <br /> needs of Cabarrus County elderly; particularly addressing the <br /> continuums of incume and functional abilities. <br /> <br /> There exists a need for adequate transportation to serve, both <br /> rural and urban elderly populations. <br /> <br />B. Issue Identification <br /> In addition to the service priorities identified above, there <br /> are important issues relating to the development, <br /> implementation, or use of services for older adults which <br /> should be addressed in the State Plan for Serving Older <br /> Adults. Please use the back of this page to list all such <br /> issues that you feel are relevant. Feel free to include - <br /> additional pages if needed.
