Page A of <br /> <br /> CONTRACT FOR SERVICES <br /> PROVIDED FOR UNDER TITLE III OF THE OLDER AMERICANS ACT <br /> AND/oR SOOIAL SERVICES BLOCK GP~%NT FUNDS <br /> AND/OR NORTH CAROLINA STATE GRANT FUNDS <br /> <br />THIS A~REEMENT,' entered into as of this 1st day of July, 1990, by <br />and between Cabarrus County (for services provided by its <br />Department of Aging) <br />(hereinafter referred to as the "Agency") and the centralin~ <br />council of Governments, (hereinafter referred to as the "Council"). <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH THAT: ' <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council desires to engage the Agency to render certain <br />services in connection with a project (hereinafter referred to as <br />the "Project") financed in part by Title III older Americans Act <br />grant funds; and/or social Services Block Grant funds; and/or North <br />Carolina State Grant funds provided to the Council from the United <br />States Department of Health and Human Services, the State of North <br />Carolina and the North Carolina General Assembly through the North <br />Carolina Division of Aging; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Agency desires to render such services in connection <br />with the said Project: <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises, and the mutual <br />covenants and agreements hereinafter contained, the parties hereto <br />agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. Employment of the Agency. The Council hereby agrees to engage <br /> the Agency and the Agency hereby agrees to perform the <br /> services hereinafter set forth in accordance with the terms <br /> and conditions contained herein. <br /> <br /> scope of Services.
