Eades, PersOnnel Officer0'' <br />SUBJECT: Revision to Personnel Ordinance <br /> <br /> The North Carolina Supreme Court's decision in Battet~ ¥. Dqpar(ment of <br />.Correction requires the County to make a minor change in its Personnel Ordinance. <br />This change involves where an appeal to the State Personnel Commission should be filed. <br />All appeals to the State Personnel Commission should be filed ~th the Commission at <br />116 West Jones Street, Raleigh, North Carolina 27106 rather than the Administrative <br />Office of the Courts, as previously required. The change in our Personnel Ordinance is <br />simply an address change and needs to be made retroactive to July 1, 1990. <br /> <br /> If you need additional information concerning this matter please let me know. <br /> <br />Amend Article VIII, Section 3. GrieY. aOce and.Adverse Action Appeal. Prqcedure - Non- <br />Discrimination of the Cabarrus County Personnel Ordinance to read as follows: <br /> <br />Step Three: <br /> <br /> St~e Personnel Act Employee.
