CABAIml)S COUNT'/ <br /> <br /> DEPART~/qT OF SOCIAL SERVICES <br /> <br /> CONTKACT <br /> <br /> This contract made by and betweex% Cabarrus County, hereinafter <br />referred to as the "County", by and through its Department of Social <br />Services, and Cooperative Christian Ministry, hereinafter referred to as <br />CCM. <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH <br /> <br /> ~EREAS, CCM provides crisis assistance and other supportive <br />services to individuals and families in need and is property <br />incorporated in the State of North Carolina for this purpose; and <br /> <br /> ~'HERMAS, CGM wishes to secure the financial support of the County <br />for a portion of the costs incurred in providing these services; and <br /> <br /> k~EP. EAS, the County, in the interest of the welfare of its <br />citizens, desires to provide financial support for a portion of the <br />costs incurred by CCM in its provision of these services; and <br /> <br /> k~HEREAS, the County has appropriated the sum of $10,000.00 for <br />this purpose for the period July I, 1990 through June 30, 1991. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORe, in consi'deration of ~he premises, the County and <br />CCM do mutually agree to the following terms and conditions: <br /> <br /> I. This contract shall begin July I, 1990 and shall exist and <br /> continue through June 30, 1991. <br /> <br /> 2. CCM shall provide its services to individuals who qualify for <br /> these services in relation to CCM's established policies in a <br /> manner specified by these policies. These policies are <br /> understood to provide for compliance with Titles VI and VI.I of <br /> the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Section 504 of the <br /> Rehabilit~tiox% Act of 1973, as appropriate, ix% addition to any <br /> other local ordinances, state laws, and federal regulations <br /> which may be applicable to CCH and its services. <br /> <br /> 3. ~e County shall allocate and pay to CCM twelve (]2) monthly <br /> payments of $833.33 each for a total of $I0,000.00 with each <br /> payment to be made on or about the last day of each month <br /> commencing in July 1990. <br /> <br /> &. CCM will undergo an audit of its operations conducted by a <br /> Certified Public Accountant and will submit a copy of the <br /> report of this audit to the Department of social Services <br /> within ninety (90) days of the conclusion of CCM's established <br /> fiscal year. <br /> <br /> <br />
