CABAIml)S COUNT'/ DEPART~/qT OF SOCIAL SERVICES CONTKACT This contract made by and betweex% Cabarrus County, hereinafter referred to as the "County", by and through its Department of Social Services, and Cooperative Christian Ministry, hereinafter referred to as CCM. WITNESSETH ~EREAS, CCM provides crisis assistance and other supportive services to individuals and families in need and is property incorporated in the State of North Carolina for this purpose; and ~'HERMAS, CGM wishes to secure the financial support of the County for a portion of the costs incurred in providing these services; and k~EP. EAS, the County, in the interest of the welfare of its citizens, desires to provide financial support for a portion of the costs incurred by CCM in its provision of these services; and k~HEREAS, the County has appropriated the sum of $10,000.00 for this purpose for the period July I, 1990 through June 30, 1991. NOW, THEREFORe, in consi'deration of ~he premises, the County and CCM do mutually agree to the following terms and conditions: I. This contract shall begin July I, 1990 and shall exist and continue through June 30, 1991. 2. CCM shall provide its services to individuals who qualify for these services in relation to CCM's established policies in a manner specified by these policies. These policies are understood to provide for compliance with Titles VI and VI.I of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Section 504 of the Rehabilit~tiox% Act of 1973, as appropriate, ix% addition to any other local ordinances, state laws, and federal regulations which may be applicable to CCH and its services. 3. ~e County shall allocate and pay to CCM twelve (]2) monthly payments of $833.33 each for a total of $I0,000.00 with each payment to be made on or about the last day of each month commencing in July 1990. &. CCM will undergo an audit of its operations conducted by a Certified Public Accountant and will submit a copy of the report of this audit to the Department of social Services within ninety (90) days of the conclusion of CCM's established fiscal year.
