Lentz, Chairman <br /> Cabarrus Board of County Co~Tnissioners <br /> Courthouse, BOX 707 <br /> Concord, North Carolina 28025 <br /> <br /> Dear Mr. Lentz: <br /> <br /> I am pleased to inform you that the Cabarrus Soil and Water Conservation <br /> District will receive $88,670.00 to protect water quality in your county. You <br /> are to be co~nended for the interagency cooperation and support needed to help <br /> conserve our natural resources. <br /> <br /> The District will provide cost-share funds to farmers and landowners who <br /> participate in the North Carolina Agriculture Cost-Share Pro, ram for Nonpoint <br /> Source Pollution Control. These funds are available to install Best <br /> Management Practices that protect water quality. The funds will be <br /> administered according to the rules of the state Soil and Water Conservation <br /> Co~nission, which allocated funds to the District. <br /> <br /> The State of North Carolina is very pleased to offer these funds to the Soil <br /> and Water Conservation District for administration of this pro, ram in your <br /> county.
