PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO T~E ORDINANCE GOVERNING <br /> MANAGEMENT OF SOLID WASTE IN CABARRUS COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br />1. SECTION I ~ DEFINITIONS <br /> Add as Paragraph X the following: <br /> X. "Cabarrus County Sanitary Landfill" - the sanitary <br /> landfill owned by.Cabarrus County located off Irish Potato Road, <br /> Cabarrus County, North Carolina. <br /> <br />2. SECTION V - SOLID WASTE TRANSPORTATION <br /> Add as second paragraph the following: <br /> No person for hire shall transport solid waste for storage <br /> or disposal tca solid waste disposal site or sanitary landfill <br /> located in Cabarrus County other than the Cabarrus County <br /> Sanitary Landfill unless: <br /> A. Such garbage or solid waste shall have been generated <br /> outside Cabarrus County; or <br /> B. By resolution duly adopted, the County Commissioners <br /> shall have designated a solid waste disposal site or sanitary <br /> landfill other than the Cabarrus County Sanitary Landfill as the <br /> destination for the transportation of such solid waste for <br /> 4isposal; or <br /> C. The Cabarrus County Sanitary Landfill does not hold a <br /> 9alid permit for the disposal of that certain category of solid <br /> waste. <br /> <br /> <br />
