These 30'plants are sampled <br /> once yearly for fecal coliform discharge. They can be sampled more if <br /> a problem arises and the results are forwarded to Environmental <br /> Management in Mooresvllle. We must depend on £nvironmental Management <br /> for compliance since we have no jurisdiction over their plants. Also, <br /> because we have no lab for analysis wa must depend on Mecklenburg <br /> County for sample results. Due to limited resources and personnel we <br /> can only sample in one area, and that is fecal coliform. More samples <br /> and inspections need to be done locally to protect our water quality, <br /> <br /> <br />
