STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br /> AMENDMENT TOLKASE <br /> COUNTY OF CABARRUS <br /> <br /> THIS AMENDMENT TO LEASE, made and entered into thie the __ <br /> <br /> day of , 1990, by and between the STATE OF <br /> <br />NORTH CAROLINA CAROLINA, hereinafter referred to as Lessor, party <br />of the first part, and the COUNTY OF CABARRUS, hereinafter <br />referred to as Lessee, party of the second part; <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> THAT, WHEREAS, the parties entered into a Lease Agreement <br />dated September 19, 1979, covering 191.89 acres of the Stonewall <br />Jackson Training School lands, located in No. 11 Township, <br />Cabarrus County, North Carolina; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the State of North Carolina, Department of Human <br />Resources, has requested and approved the execution of this lease <br />amendment for the purposes set forth herein; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the execution of this instrument for and on behalf <br />of the State of North Carolina was approved by the Council of <br />State at a meeting held in the City of Raleigh, North Carolina, <br />on the 2nd day of October, 1990; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the parties hereto have mutually agreed as herein <br />set forth; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises and the <br />mutual covenants contained therein, the parties do hereby agree <br />that the Lease and Lease Amendment between the same parties dated <br /> <br /> <br />
