- Cabarrus senior Games ~jj ~ 'P. O. Box 707, Concord, NC 28026-0707 MAY 9-12, 1988 OPEN TO: All Cabarrus County Residents and David H. Murdock Senior Center Members (regardless of county of residency) who are 55 years of age or older. Age on August 1, 1988, will determine the category in which athlete will compete. Participants will compete against others of their own sex and age aS follows: ,55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-75, etc. Proof Of age must be presented at registration. EVENTS: Are ~isted on registration form. :Please mark events 1, 2, 3, etc. in order of preference. Athlete may enter as many events as desired; howe~er, if 2 events overlap or are scheduled at the same time, athlete will be scheduled according to preference indicated, YOu may compete in the following events at your convenience during the scheduled times: softball throw, football throw and basketball shooting. NONSANCTIONED Checkers and putt-putt are not events which are sanctioned by N. C. Senior EVENTS: Games, Inc. These events will not be offered at the state games. Ribbons will be awarded to the winners. EQUIPMENT: Participants in the following events will supply their own equipm0nt; golf -- golf Clubs and bails tennis -- tennis racquet ENTRY FEE: An entry fee of $5.00 per person must accompany each registration form/ liability waiver/medical form .for entry to be valid. Entry fee will be refunded if registration is cancelled 5 days prior to Cabarrus Senior Games (May 4). Deadline for early registration is April 29. Late Registrations will be accepted af[er April 29 until 12:00 noon on May 6. Late registration fee is $7.00, No registration after 12:00 noon on May 6. AWARDS: Gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to top three finishers in each age category and male and female divisions in each event.
