Lentz <br />Chairman, Cabarrus County <br /> Board of Commissioners <br />Post Office Box 707 <br />Concord, North Carolina 28026-0707 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Lentz: <br /> <br /> We have received your letter requesting the Wildlife Resources <br />Commission to hold a public hearing to receive input on spotlighting <br />deer in Cabarrus County. <br /> <br /> General Statute 113-291.1(el) is the law that regulates spotlighting <br />of deer (copy enclosed), and it states that when establishing a local law <br />on spotlighting deer, the hearing must be held in the area of concern. <br /> <br /> By copy of this letter, we are asking Wildlife Enforcement Captain <br />Wes Cook to contact you to determine a time and place to have a public <br />hearing in Cabarrus County.
